How many times have you said this? How many diets or workout have you promised to do but never finished? Try something that is going to be beneficial for both you and your child.
How many nights have you been up and wondering ‘Why won’t you go back to sleep?’
I totally get this. I have twins. I have spent many nights asking myself the same question, especially on a cold winter’s night.
So, why not teach them to sleep independently?!
Children thrive on routine, even as a newborn. Start off small and build upon it. You could create a pattern of waking up, opening the curtains, and offering a feed. Then expand that through out your day together and build the foundation steps to a perfect nights sleep for everyone.
You may stumble and go backward due to sleep regression with age but consistently following a daily routine lets your baby learn to know what is coming next.
So go on, believe in yourself, you can do it!!!
